Psalm 25 begins with the words, “In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.” Let me draw your attention to three words – you, my, I. The ‘you’ speaks of Yahweh. The ‘my’ speaks of a personal relationship with Yahweh. The ‘I’ speaks of personal responsibility. Three components that are absolutely necessary for salvation. Trusting in just any god is worthless. Why is that? Because only one God, His name is Yahweh, has the power to save you. And because He’s a God who is relational, He desires to enter into a relationship with those He saves. And because He’s personal, He desires a relationship with me. And He desires a relationship with you. You, my and I. Friends, there is no other god like Him. We know Him by name and He invites us to sit with Him and talk to Him and enjoy Him. “In you, Lord my God, I put my trust.”
