There is much we could and should talk about when it comes to important Biblical truths. God’s justice. Our sinfulness. The need for repentance. The coming judgement. All of these, and more, must be carefully considered.
One of the great Biblical truths that holds a special place in my heart is God’s grace.
Every time I open the Bible I see it. Perhaps because I’m so in need of it, and just so aware that without it I’d be lost and hopeless, it stands out as a beacon of light. Think about it. The woman at the well. The man born blind. The leper who has forgotten what it feels like to be touched. Peter, the man who thought his betrayal unforgivable. And what about Paul? The man who persecuted the church and despised the name of Jesus. All of them experienced God’s grace. And it doesn’t stop there. Everywhere you look God’s grace is ready to restore the broken-hearted, forgive the sinner and redeem the lost. It’s true. How do I know? I’m one of them.
