Over August and September we will be exploring the first three chapters of the book of Revelation. Tune in each Sunday morning at 10am for the live stream.
You can watch past sermons on YouTube or listen on our website.
The book of Revelation is a series of visions, symbols and Old Testament references. While it often appears daunting, it is written to reveal not to conceal; to comfort not to confuse; to prepare, not necessarily predict.
This first section introduces us to the style and some of the key symbols we’ll see throughout the book. It also places Jesus Christ – risen and reigning – at the centre of it all. He speaks to his people, his church, through words of encouragement, rebuke, challenge and hope. The circular letter, written to seven churches, encourages believers to resist sin and remain faithful as they eagerly anticipate Christ’s return as king.
